Consumer court is established under The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (CPA) is an Act that provides for effective protection of interests of consumers. Consumers is the backbone for business and economy of its country and in most of the time consumers get cheated by different ways there are many situations happened in every segment of business. Purchase or hire of good and services has become an inevitable part of our daily lives. This decision to effectuate such purchase or hire such service is essentially based on trust, failing which can cause, more often than not to the consumers, anything from a monetary loss to physical harm.  Jago Grahak Jago  is a consumer awareness programme launched by the Department of Consumer Affairs under the Ministry of Consumer , and Public Distributions by the Government of India.As part of this vision, the government has used channels to create consumer awareness through print, media advertisements, audio campaigns and video campaigns for consumer information and education about initiatives like Insurance Ombudsman channel. This program will help the Indian consumers to know about their consumer rights.

How do I File a Consumer Complaint?
